The Commissioning Process:

We work directly with clients, architects and designers.

Although the commission process can unfold in several ways, our preferred
course of action is as follows:

We are presented with the site that requires the artwork.
- We will have a meeting with the client to discuss their interests, wants and desires.
- We will take measurements for the art installation site.
- We will set a budget and a timeline for the project.

We make rough sketches, budget and timeline for the artwork.

- Sketches include three to five designs for the artwork.
- The budget and timeline for each proposed design will be given.
- We will get feedback from the client and make necessary design adjustments.

At this point in the process it will go one of two ways.

A.)The client will choose a design based on the sketches, budget and timeline provided. We
will create a contract with the client to proceed with the commission.
OR

B.) If the client is still undecided, we will get feedback from them and make the necessary
design adjustments. We will hold additional meetings where we will provide more detailed
drawings of the proposed artwork.

Payment schedule and process

- Upon acceptance of contract by both clients and Dohmen and Company, a 1/2 payment of
total cost is due.
- A final 1/2 payment is due at completion and installation of the work.
